Crying Lightning

Crying Lightning

A Poem by Tai Ryens
"

Opposites attract . . .

"

Forbidden was our distanced love

long have I exhausted of tears to shed

for you were as below as I was above

as opposite here as we were before death

Electricity sparkles in the love-lorned air

emitting from my throat were sorrow induced sounds

soon enough lightning coupled amidst my despair

whilst I desperately lunged out to the ground

Betrayed was I when you flinched from my touch

reflecting lightning to shred my heart asunder

never before has my heart been wrenched so much

and so I wept and I wept, producing more thunder

My fave of the four I just read. "Whilst I desperately lunged out to the ground" Classic Tai verbage. The Title is great too. Sounds like an Avitar name for an Angry chick that posts poems about guys dumping on her. "All men are are lying scumbags, A poem by Crying lightning." THat would be awesome.
