The tangled vines of two flowersA Poem by The Girl with the smileIn a dream she came to me.....A dream Reoccurring Has me reaching out To touch your hand We’re on a bed As your lips Delicate as a rose Melt against mine Your long hair Resting against my cheek I realize this is what I want Your body against mine Pressing close to me Smothering fear Alleviating confusion Your warmth comforting Making me realize All we are A mesh of beautiful curves Two souls of the same flesh Grasping onto the night air As lungs hasten and hearts hammer Until we lose ourselves…. Just two roses in the dark © 2013 The Girl with the smileReviews
