Alyssa Sta. Cruz

My screen name, at least here, is Alyssa Santa-Cruz. I'm a junior studying journalism in the premiere state university (or so they tell us) in the Philippines.

While I'm slowly learning to love the media and its accompanying style of writing, my first love is and always will be literature. I've been writing since I've understood that I can create my own stories, escape to my own worlds.

Granted, most of my earlier writing is unfinished (unless of course you count the poems of oh-so-delicious teen angst). I've dabbled in fanfiction, but those too are incomplete. It's only been last year that I've actually finished short stories and got the nerve up to start posting them on my blog.

I hope you do take the time to read them, and help me improve. And if you DO add me as a friend (something which would make me ridiculously pleased), please introduce yourself first. I get confused when random people invite me.
